Its time for June to get its things and ‘gerrahia’ because July is knocking really hard. June has had its fair share of amazing movies and some bad ones as well.
Well, with July comes an amazing basket full of movies ready to be watched and reviewed. You know a movie has to pass through our frying pan. These dates represent when the movies will premier so since we are in Kenya,we can give it a day or two to access it,but with our improved IMAX cinemas we can access the movies just about immediately.
Some of the movies awaiting release are:
SPIDER-MAN; HOMECOMING- JULY 7.
This is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man.
Following the events of Captain America;Civil War (2016),and his experience with the Avengers, Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. He attempts to balance his life in high school with his career as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man.
Spider-man fans must be pretty excited for this one. Will It deliver?

GIRLS TRIP- JULY 21.
“Stella,Stella,Stella,Stella boom boom baah” I have 3 reasons why I am so eager to watch this.
- Our home-girl STL had her song as the feature track in the trailer, I hope its also in the movie.
- The amazing cast from the lovely Regina Hall to the legends Jada Pinkett Smith and the Queen herself Queen Latifah.
- Lastly, Every lady deserves a girls night-out, why not get some pointers to make it unforgettable.
Four friends are in for the adventure of a lifetime when they travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival.
Will they rekindle their sisterhood or will this trip break them?
THE EMOJI MOVIE – JULY 28.
We have all used them one way or another.Emojis have became a way of expressing our emotions via text.So an amazing screenwriter has decided to make a 3D movie about it.
Hidden inside a smartphone, the bustling city of Textopolis is home to all emojis. Each emoji has only one facial expression, except for Gene, an exuberant emoji with multiple expressions.
With his determination of becoming like the other emojis, will he make it?
Well these are but a few movies expected to keep us glued to the screens.I will definitely do a review on these movies. Don’t forget to leave a comment on which movie you cant wait to watch and we might watch it together.
